The difficult decision
has been made to cancel The 7th Annual Parry Sound Curlers Care
Bonspiel planned for February, 2022.
We hope to return to a more normal life next
year and look forward hosting the 7th Annual Parry Sound Curlers
Care bonspiel
in February 2023.
Past participants, volunteers, sponsors and
anyone who has supported the Parry Sound Curlers Care Bonspiel in the past
are
welcome to make an on line donation to the
North Bay Military Family Resource Centre Supporting Military Families in
our area
by logging on to
www.curlerscare.ca
and click on the DONATION link.
Donations can
also be made by cheque or cash by completing the Donation
Form and giving it to Ray Pavlove
or dropping it off at
the Parry Sound Curling Club in care of Ray Pavlove or mailing
it to:
North Bay Military Family Resource Centre,
Heights, ON P0A 1P0

2-4 Supporting Our Troops Bonspiel Champions
“Gryphons” Team, Debby Pavlove Andrew Cunsolo from
Guelph, Ontario captured the 1st Annual
Supporting our Troops Bonspiel by scoring the highest
total points with a draw to the button against the five
other Pool Champions.
Pavlove put her rock in the 4 foot, while Cunsolo drew
the button.

Curlers Care –
Supporting our Troops and
Veterans
The Military Families Fund of the Canadian
Forces Morale and Welfare Services received a cheque in the
amount of $9108.75 from the organizers of the 1st
Annual Supporting our Troops Bonspiel held at the Parry
Sound Curling Curl. The money was raised through personal
pledges collected by the 48 teams who participated in the
event. The Military Families Fund provides financial
assistance to Canadian Armed Forces members or their
families who may face unforeseen or immediate needs that are
directly related to the conditions of military service.
